EEWC Gathering 2010
Indianapolis, Indiana
By Barb Crews
I had so much going through my head in the days after the conference. I wanted to let each presenter know how much I appreciated their efforts and their gifts. So instead of writing to each individually, I decided to express my thanks by recapping the events with deep appreciation, while at the same time sharing my experiences with those who could not attend!

Conference Report: Joyfully Remembering
By Kay Nannet
It was an event in the planning for 20 months, so its arrival was anticipated with enthusiasm by those of us on the conference committee. We had put our hearts and souls into every aspect of this conference; and as we prayed together before we left Sharon Bowes’ house to head to the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel on Thursday, June 26, we felt like expectant parents waiting to visualize our “baby” after a long gestation! And what a beautiful baby it turned out to be!

You can read about the conference experience in Alena Amato Ruggerio’s summary report and in Anne Eggebroten’s personal essay about a California feminist’s visit to the Bible Belt. EEWC Conference 2002
Indianapolis, Indiana
“I was too weepy with exultation and exhaustion after the Blessing Circle Sunday morning to really get a sense of how other people were feeling as they left the campus of Butler University after the Evangelical and Ecumenical Women’s Caucus Biennial International Conference. If you are like me, you look back on the experience of July 11-14, 2002, (an unusually cool summer weekend for Indianapolis, Indiana, and in an unusually cool residence hall!) with beautiful memories of the plenary speakers, workshops, music, worship, and friendships.”
